With over 15 years of experience in web development and UI design, Sarper Kocabiyik has established himself as an expert in object-oriented programming languages. His strong technical background in Unix/Linux, SQL coding and database management has earned Sarper top technical positions with a number of leading software and e-commerce companies.

Before joining the PopMarker team, Sarper served as a Senior Web Engineer at Shutterfly and MyPublisher. He was a Lead Software Engineer at Statdash.com and CTO at New York’s Fashion Start up StyleCaster.com. He work for Sony Music, Kia Motors, Pepsi and Sobe Energy Drinks as a subcontractor. He held senior web development posts at Seed Gives Life—a creative marketing agency that now goes under the name Sub Rosa. He worked for Mountain Dew websites and SeanJohn.com. When he was a lead developer in ADM Advertising, he worked for Plessers.com, Pc Richards, and ManhattanMotorCars.com. As the founder of DominoMedia.com, Sarper has been developing his own line of software since 2000.

Sarper Kocabiyik holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Middle East Technical University in Ankara, Turkey. After graduating in 1999, he undertook continuing studies in ecommerce system and business development at Baruch College of the City University of New York (CUNY).
